11/10/12 DOC'S POND LAST GILL OF THE SEASON
BIGGEST GILL TODAY AND JUST OVER 10" AND WAS A GOOD FIGHT ON THE ULTRA LIGHT . GOT this fat guy on a red & yellow SIR JEFFREY SILENT STINGER. NO Dick I did't tip em either!!!!!!

THANKS ANGELO and it was a fitting end to my year and my first year on BBG TOO!!!!!! CAN'T BELIEVE it's almost winter here already and I've never fished this late in the season before. I've gone by my latest in the year by a full month from last year. I caught an early case of gill fever this year and couldn't shake it!!!!! To be perfectly honest didn't think I would catch anything today , but stuck it out for 6 hours and finally about 3:30 I switched baits and Whalla!!! Changed colors also and went back to yellow and first cast missed one . THe bite was slow but they were both quality fish and hope Doc's pond does'nt freeze over this winter and kill all the fish that are left.........

Thanks Jeff and the fish were all released today and am getting pretty handy at turning em loose!!!!!!!!!!!! Good fish to end the season on and I'm back to Iowa next year and hopefully down to SIR JEFFREYS to get some of those COOPER NOSE GILLS!!!!!!
