THANKS VINCE and yup it was a fat one and a fitting end to my season here. I"m sure you'll like the NEw Age Chenille as much as I do and have had great results with it till the cool down this week. WINTER RUN BLUE is my favorite so far but that could change next spring buddy!..........

Beautiful thick purple gill ! It doesn't get any better Tooty! I got some Ice Dubbing and some Ultra Chenille a while back, and like how it looks. I need to order some of the New Age Chenille next.

Thanks Dick and Jeffrey. Yup I love the stingers too Jeffrey and can't wait for spring either with so much new stuff to try, thanks to you and Jim Gronaw. I really like the properties of the NEW AGE CHENILLE and it's going to be a go to lure for me next year I"m sure....

Nice fish Tooty. Went out for a short while and got one 5" Gill. Yours looks to be a buck but can't be 100 percent because the coloration is washed. Great fish though.

Very nice gill Tooty......glad to see it on a Stinger.....can't wait to fish them in the Spring.....

Comment by DAVID L EITUTIS on November 10, 2012 at 8:09pm

Yup they were much darker from Doc's pond earlier in the year. I guess it's the winter colors or some such thing. I'm not to scientific in my approach to gilling and just go by what colors I think will work. Yellow is one of my favorites and avoided it till the end of the day while I was trying new ties out . This Yellllow Silent Stinger as Jeffrey calls em has been a standy for yyyyyyyears ..

And with that... I'm off to bed. But first, I'm going to feature this fish...I think it's purty.....

Ya'll play nice..party
