Do you love big bluegill?
One of 7 Brown Bullheads
Finally found 56 degree water surface temp from shore. After two small Bluegills on #10 hooks with mealworms, I got the Bass and then in the same spot caught 7 of these Bullheads this size and smaller. Used a fixed small Pear shaped weighted foam float rig with crawlers set 3 feet below and near bottom by an inflow pipe . #10 and #6 Aberdeen hooks got wrecked with removal after each catching 2 or 3 fish and then switching to #4 caught a few more .Coincided with early developed Maple Tree buds.

Yes sir you know it Jeff. This very convenient NW Cove spot is my early warning detection for when fish are beginning to make their move to shallow areas .Just am surprised today that there were no Yellow Perch here !
