recently i established a catch n keep slot of 14-16 inches for the table. last year i kept one LMB for the oil... since then its been over forty years since the last catch n keep LMB... thats a lot of catch and release!!!. ive always held this fish in high regards as a game fish. Incredibly out of the nine LMBs we caught yesterday only 2 of those would have fit that slot!
