Do you love big bluegill?

They dont bite and run like a gill, kind of take it and swim off until you retrieve line, then fight. Always give talapia away, always return gills and bass so I can catch em again when they grow. I just enjoy the catching.
Another one of them funny fish.
Blue Tilapia are algae eating machines. Never could bring myself to stock them for that purpose though..... they start dying off when water temps drop to around 50 degrees.
It's a blue talapia, caught at Saddle creek(Lakeland FL). About 14", maybe 2 lbs? They're supposed to be vegetarian, but I've caught them on wet flies and worm pieces when nothing else would bite on a hot afternoon. Winter before last, it got cold here(28-30) and some a lot bigger than this one washed up dead at Toho and Saddlecreek.
Nice tilapia how big was it?
What kind?
Where you catch it?
