Ledhead, that is a beautiful fish, and from backdrop and So. Cal lake...

Perris I would like to fish my brother who lives on lake Henshaw fishes

this lake with his lady friend who is a expert on Perris lake in her float tube.

I fish Sacramento lakes and area,. and no coppernose due to colder winters I think

but I catch huge Red-ears up here...   Louis

NICE FISH.........

Thnx guys. For the pics you must become the BG whisper or tickle the belly and the fish will relax - LOL. It helps taking good photos if you have good subject matter.

I try leaving the fish in the net while setting up the camera, gently hold the fish while shooting, then a quick release. It is a balancing act and you can get stuck. You have to respect the Bluegill, nobody else will.

Think the Auto has really proved itself David - got some very nice BGs & REs with them this year.

I think Led Hed drugged that fish Mike (heh heh). Sure would like to hear Led Hed explain how he got this fish to sit so still. Especially hard to do WITH  the high gear of summer fish but even cold water gills flop around like they're nuts!

Real nice fish and I like the way you photographed this one! I scold my nephew when I take pics of him and his fish! I tell him  ,"too much hand ,not enough fish" .
