YUP LEO you are definately in OGG'S mentality and we all have similar aches and pains. The other day when I saw my Doc about my problems of pains and so forth , he just laughed at me and said there is nothing you can do for it! It's just life catching up with ya , but I refuse to accept that. I'll just keep doing what I do and now with just some added pains is all. He said you may want to slow down some. I asked him , DOC you ever been behind me on the road? He of course said no, and why do you ask? I told him if he had been he'd see that if I slowed down any more I'd be in reverse!!!!!!!!!!...........

OGG MEMBER LARRY H. ASKED A REALLY GOOD QUESTION, WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF MY NEW GROUP!  GOOD question Larry but a difficult one to answer to be sure.

When Dick Tabbert and I were talking on the phone last night it came to me in a VISION! BEING CLOSE TO THE SAME AGE , MID 60'S , we both have similar views and memories of the past. The group formed kind of in my mind as a slight SPOOF  and just a place for the seniors , and young uns like Leo to hang out a just do what we do best.

What do we do best Larry: In my little mind I want to pass on some knowledge to another generation that may have different views than an OLD GEEZER might. For instance what are we all in such a GOL DANGED HURRY ABOUT ?!!! I SEE IT EVERY DAY and drives me nutso.  I don't want to drive 80 miles an hour in a 45 mph speed zone, but seems like alot of other folks do. Sometimes it really makes me mad and especially when they try to send me a message with anyone of their fingers, I ALWAYS RETURN THE FAVOR TO EM AND SHOUT SOME THINGS TOO !

THIS is the kind of stuff that the group is formed for , just a place to VENT I GUESS and we who have attained this status in life deserve some repect is all, JUST A LITTLE RESPECT, and it also relates to our views on fishing cause I KKKKKKKKKKNOW IT IS DIFFERENT FOR OLD GEEZERS FISHING THAN the younger RUN AND GUN mentality of the TOURNEY BASS CHASERS FOR INSTANCE........

You know you are an old geezer when you have a special pocket in your fishing pants for your daily medicines, and don't leave for the boat ramp till daylight, because the other cars headlights blind you.

Ah..I'm feeling my age in this group now. LOL

Truly, I do feel my age. My body is telling me I'm 70 already. Left knee can feel the rain coming. Right wrist can sense the storm coming. My neck can sense the dropping and rising of the barometic pressure. My butt cheeks can be use an accurate thermometer.

Looks like I feel right at home..

WELCOME ABOARD JIM AND DICK!!!!! GLAD TO HAVE THE COMPANY HERE and some other OGG member tiers of extreme talent on in my group. Didn't invite alot of my buddys on the friends list because I didn't want to offend em ! Group is open to anyone however, even if you are under 50 !  Should be some lively discussions here this winter cause I'm a soft water fisherman only and will be watching daily to see who has what to say.

THIS GROUP is for the old in stature but young at heart!!!!!! Hope all who want to be in the group sign up!!!!!! Ever notice when you get up in the morning the first thing you do is try and get outta bed, and then discover your back or shoulders are hurting !

Or you are out fishing and get really tired and put the rod up and just enjoy watching your buddy catch fish! Or you decide you've already caught more than you would like to clean so you start throwing em back and just enjoy the fishing as relaxing like it's supposed to be.
If any of these hit a cord with ya YOU MIGHT BE AN OLD GEEZER in the making!
