Targeting Multi Species Panfish

In my location of New Jersey, panfish include a variety of Species. I enjoy a Multi species outing either fishing alone or with friends or Family members. Bluegill, Pumpkinseed, Red Breasted Sunfish, Bullheads, pan sized Stream Trout, White and Yellow Perch, Crappie, a few Rock Bass, a few Green Sunfish is what I encounter. All are welcome to join and archive their techniques and Species List .

Best White Perch this year.

I have thought "Jack Perch " to be a Southern term for Jumbo Yellow Perch but this week, I heard the same reference up in upper NY State in the Thousand Island / St. Lawrence region.

RIPLEYS BELIEVE IT OR NOT : This duel catch single Hook Phenomenon has only happened twice in my Life . Once with a Painted Turtle and a Yellow Bullhead four years ago and a few weeks ago with a Small Hen Bluegill and a White Perch .

Apparently what happens is two competing Fish go after a baited hook and one knocks the other past the hook and threads it on the line . I find this amazing !

How aggressive were the Yellow Perch on Greenwood Lake yesterday ? Aggressive enough to hit #5 Mepps Spinners and 4 inch Yum worms while targeting Smallmouth Bass.
