I would have to say I am now addicted. Jeff you fish some beautiful waters and are very good at it. Thank you so much for taking the time to bring us ice, wisdom, encouragement. Look forward to the next trip up to your neck of the woods.

Good people and Bluegill fishing are a great combination Glenn.....I hate that the rain made it tough on your camping......Pasquotank is a very scenic and productive panfish destination.......It takes time and patience to learn the waters you fish...I was proud of your efforts to catch dinner yesterday in a brand new location....When we left you guys this morning Eric and I hit another favorite creek of mine and we found some big Coppernose......Ended up with some great gills and we headed out at 12:30 when an approaching thunderstorm ended our trip........We'll be in touch and keep us posted on your bluegill fishing, we'd love to hear about it! Here's a few nice ones from earlier today....

Jeff I want to give out a big thank you for every thing you did for us. The rain was trying but we had a great pan fish dinner last night which made it all worth it. Very nice to meet you yesterday Jeff. Tripp and I are already talking about next time.

I went and saw Glenn and Tripp on the upper Pasquotank River this afternoon...They have basically stayed in West Creek as it is very close to the camping platforms on Goat Island......They were working hard to catch dinner and had stories of the big coppernose that had broke the line........They were overcoming the challenges of today's weather......They had a nice mixed bag and really liked the scenic river.....Look slike more rain tomorrow so hopefully they can salvage a few more hours before heading home......Nice to meet you Glenn and Tripp!

I am waiting on you to ask If you can fish with Jeffs pole this weekend. Haha it's going to be an adventure. I am pretty sure we will figure it out. Pitch a small bobber and bait of choice. Up next to tree roots and flats. If that doesn't work I will ask Jeff to use his pole. Haha look forward to fishing the infamous river of the mysterious north east. Jeff and the rest of he gang thanks for your support as Glenn and I learn to panfish. Being new to the game brings lots of room to get better. Just looking forward to the family camping trip.

Glen- I almost always work 2 poles, one with a float and one for casting. I can cover more water and many times one presentation works over the other. Although, when the bite is good I have to choose one.

Thank you very much. Just bought some very small floats.

9 out of 10 times Glenn I fish under a float....you can't fish the bottom where these gills  get this time of year unless you want to donate your terminal tackle......
