I hope to fill out my calendar catches this year .My archives show I've caught our beloved RBS from June through October .

When dealing with moving waters during my last few outing I've noticed that the redbreast is the most active feeder since the temps have dropped quite a bit. I'm not sure if this will hold true when the temps plummet even farther but as for now they aren't slowed much at all. Any insight into this fellas?

Got this one a few evenings ago while fly fishing. Caught probably 10 or so with this being the biggest of the redbreasts. I just had switched from a "slump buster" to a black "woolly bugger" and this flash of color absolutely slammed it. This was the last fish of the evening for me and a nice one at that.

Nice pics John. I caught a beautiful and nice sized redbreast in a river a few evenings ago but dropped it before I could get a pic. I was disappointed.

Another young one. I saw the bigger Redbreasts in the river and they would not bite. They were too busy guarding their nests and chasing away the other fish that were too busy trying to get into the nests! The nest guarders were EXREMELY irate.
