Do you love big bluegill?

Information

Rock Bass

Well, I'm sorry if there's already a goggleye group but here we go. I love to catch these buggers smallmouth fishing! Got some huge ones on an Illinois lake while trolling cranks and casting for smallies.

061114--10" rockie caught on a 3/4 oz rubber bass jig. Mean little sob's ... that's why I like to target them.

Rock bass are in full spawning mode here in mid michigan. While retrieving a snagged lure I noticed a female surrounded by two smaller males I swear would have gone 16". Going back for her later this weekend.

The Rockies had snail larvae Parasites in the fillets. From this trip I brought home Walleye and Brown Trout fillets .
