Ok, am 50yr old white, semi-redneck that lives on a dirt road with a river in my backyard ! But this group has been stagnant, so... The steelhead are running good, been hearing of crappie's being caught. Neibhors are trolling for early walleye bite and muskies behind the house here. What are you doing ? steve b

Yeah, I know, no mention of bluegills. My fishin' seasons run as follows.. steelhead thru out fall/winter/into spring. Then spring trout at camp in Elk county Penn in mid-April. THEN, bluegills. SOON ! steve b

Water temps in Northern Illinois are in the low 50's........Bluegill have been biting good on the Blue Fox rattlin' flash spoon 1/16 oz......good friends and I captured 60 last Sunday.

Visited a private pond in Northeastern Indiana sunday. 11 cats avging 4+ pounds,, 9 gills 8 -10 inches. Was a great start to the fishing season!
