Reverse Rigging for Senkos and Other Stick Worms

OK, guys... a number of members have asked about the reverse rigging for Senkos, Yum Dingers and similar style worms we used to fish on top of heavy algae and weed mats to get those explosive, blow-up strikes from quality bass during late summer. So, here are a few pics to show this simple adaption...just run the 'tapered' end of the worm in on the front of the off-set worm hook so it can glide over top of the slop easier than the blunt end.

Fish it on 20 to 30 lb Sonic Braid...work it like a scum-frog and inch it along on top of the There is still lots of hot weather bassing to do all over the map, so give it a shot at your local, weedy lake!

Jigged up a couple of Bass through the ice yesterday .Chartruese Genz worm/mealworm took a fat 15" that fought great! A 13 " that also fought great fell for a Chartruese teardrop/Gulp Maggott.

just saw ur question john i was working this bank with two submerged trees just off of it its really shallow cuz of littler rain she hit in about 2-3 feet of water i walked the dog with the bait for maybe a foot then paused it she missed it the first time and cleared the water by about a foot or so and i saw her and said to my gf "thats a four or five pounder" so i threw back in and retrieved it about a foot stopped it and blam she hit and dove i didnt want her to get hung up so i brought her in as fast as possible maybe 15 seconds and she was in the net thats when i realized it was a pig sorry for the long story

Vincent -Let me rephrase that .It's an AWESOME BRUTE of a bass.
I implore you to tell me details on how that fish took that Super Spook. Depth of water, type of cover etc.
My biggest Largemouth also took a topwater and I left it motionless to entice it.It was about a 6#er and it took a classic Hula Popper in 3-4 ' of water .The fish was near a bush and a fallen oak tree.
