Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hello Fellow Gillers!

First things first. I would like to take this moment to apologize for my lack of presence on BigBlueGill. I have a lot of irons in the fire as of late. School has started for me, back in August. With this old brain, I have to really submerse myself into the academics and stay on top of things, class work and such. I'm about 18 credits from graduating so, things are getting real! I can't wait to get out of here! On to fishing and such...

Fishing? Whats that? That's what it feels like as of late. I sold my boat recently and purchased a different one. The "new" boat is a 1971 Lund S-14. A little smaller than what I had and in way better shape. This thing is like new! One problem though, it DID NOT come with a motor. I was fully aware of this snag but, winter is coming upon us soon and I will be shopping for one this early spring. Mean while, I have been getting out fishing here and there with some friends and such. Just not as much as I would like, but isn't that always the case! When I'm not buggin some poor friend for a fishing adventure I have been working on my YouTube channel. That is a time consuming sucker if there ever was one but, its fun and rewarding. The reward is that Frabill and I have been in contact and they like what I have going on in the fishing world. This has lead me to a "preliminary" pro-staff position with them. I pretty excited about this! This new venture has put me into the position of selling all my Clam Corp ice fishing portables so I can re-tool with new Frabill gear. I am a Craigslist master now! I have no intentions of trying to sell Frabill gear on here. This site isn't for that, at all! So please don't think that I am, it's just the new gear.

I see that alot members are getting good fish, I like that! I miss this place. I have missed all of you. I hope that I can be more be more active here, like I used to be and keep up with school and life. Keep up the good fishing and good friendship! Tight lines everyone!

Great news. Put in the effort and see the results.

Good for you.... So lets see a picture of the boat, already!

Hang in there, my friend! We will be looking forward to all of your fishing reports and cool videos! It is always great to hear from a real top-notch bluegiller from the north country!

Welcome back "Bullworm"! Congrats on the Frabill deal and hope its all you want it to be...The Good life is about balance and it appears that you're working hard to achieve that. I stumbled on this site this past January looking for a screensaver and I'm one of the new fanatics on Bigbluegill.com. I truly enjoy the diversity, knowledge and testimony of the anglers on this site. I fish alone often but its nice to share stories and photos with people that can really relate. Really enjoy your video work!

Thanks a bunch guys! This is exactly what I miss...gill-head friends!!! David, here is the new vessel!!!

Yeah, that's a sweet boat for those deep, clear Minnesota waters. It certainly is in fine nick, isn't it? And I notice there isn't a lot of extraneous junk cluttering up it's home, like lawn mowers and all those other icky time wasting tools you're supposed to have around.

In the immortal words of the Master - "... and I even like the color!"
