Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Was at my favorite bream lake Saturday and couldn't get anything going with the bream or shellcrackers...Told my buddy I had to be gone by 4:00 PM to make it to a friends house for some good food , Beer and the Alabama game. On the way to the ramp to take out I ran accross a cluster of trees on bottom at 15 feet deep and throwed out a marker behind the boat and fished there for a few minutes. Caught around 12 pretty nice crappie but had the game and grub on the brain so I told my buddy we would come back later and find them again. After the game and the LOSS to LSU my mind went back to the lake so Once again Sunday morning at 10 o'clock found me at the lake putting the boat in and going back to the trees in 15 feet and anchored down with a bucket of minows. We left at 3:00 PM with a limit of 60 nice crappie between the two of us. Cleaned and put in the freezer, it is hard to stay at work today knowing we left hundreds still waiting to commit suicide on a nice fat minow or my little chartruce jig...Man can't wait till Friday, I'm feeling sick tommorow. LOL

The saying a bad day fishing is better than a day at work, make's it a little harder when it could possibly be a good day fishing.  Good luck on that one Vic...... Hey If I can ever be of any help please feel free to ask. GOOD FISHIN..
I always need help Dick, anytime you want to make the trip we will see about busting these crappie up a little

Man you got it bad... aint it great!

I liked where you said you marked the spot so you could go back. To bad about the Alabama loss, but there's always fishing.

Ok, now you made ME feel sick, too. And I'm in northern California; that's pretty contagious. lol

Didn't mean to make you feel bad but there is one sure fire remedy, Go again!!!..LOL
