Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Lookie,Lookie Lookie,  Look what I got in the mail this weekend, these pieces of art with my logo on them,  and on top of that they glow in the dark, THANKS Carl, the only thing I have found wrong with these is you need to sign your works of art, or at least put your initials on them . If you only new how many  bluegill are going to be hooked under these  with my fly rod. Again Thanks a lot  for mine and Kendall's new Quills.    LOFR

Just plain outstanding Carl !!!!!!! I have a few of these and they are beautifully crafted .......

Just wondering were do you buy the quills?

TERRY;; I HAVE TRADED FOR SOME;; BOUGHT A FEW IN A BAIT SHOP CLOSE TO MY HOUSE;;  AND GOT SOME FROM E- BAY;; HAD SOME GIVEN TO ME TO!!

good looking floats.would hate to fish them.

thanks Ronald;; but its what they are for!!  fishing!!  easiest floats to see !!  and the deadliest!!

Carl, I've been using imitation quils, I believe balsa wood, but these look awesome, great job.

You know Carl, John has a point. If you have lots of quills that are not sized properly for floatation, how about adding a bit of balsa wood to increase the girth, and maximize the buoyancy to match the bigger, thicker, premium quills? A bit more work, but saves plenty of money in the long run.

hey John;; thanks for the kind words buddy!!  guess I just got a bit lucky making these up!!  HEY LEO!!!!!!  I gave Keith Ritter several very short quills ; he is going to see what he can do with them;;  adding some kind of girth to them.  I'll sit back and see what kind of idea Keith comes up with!!!!

I can't wait to see what he comes up with. Mastermind at work.

John;; where did you find any imation quill floats??  we had wondered why somebody hasn't made any.  also;; check out Keith Ritters ;; home made floats!!  he makes some excellent ones!

Ebay is eat up with them, Carl. I got a bunch.

Look for wagglers. Heres a start:
