Do you love big bluegill?

Help me understand, you fly gear guys. What is a furled leader, and what is it used for?

I CANT HELP YOU ON THESE DAMON;; IVE NEVER USED ONE ;; SOMETHING ABOUT HELPING TO KEEP WIND KNOTS OUT OF THE LEADER I THINK.

Here is a good read on furled leaders. Brandon makes a top notch products and will even make custom stuff as well.

Love 'um...  That's what I use as a "fly line" on my Tenkara Rods... mine are 12 foot and 13 foot length.  I've also used them as a regular leader while fishing with traditional fly fishing gear, in the 8 and 9 foot lengths...  They are nicely tapered and help turn over a fly well when you cast with them.

They're made of small diameter line twisted up to form a taper. Very flexible, less memory, and few wind knots. All I use since I tried them years ago. I'd recommend trying one!
