Do you love big bluegill?

I'm in Hernando county and was wondering if anyone knew the best places to catch panfish.

Linda;; many years ago;;  just outside of Crystal River; was a small town called; Inglis;  there was a army lock canal there that everybody fished at. We caught ;; croakers;; mullet; jack crevail; blue fish;; several other types.  following that canal; back;; led to some small estuaries;; great for pan fishing!!  hope this helps !! also;; bbg member;; Steve Totten;; is from Fl.  maybe he can also help

Hi Linda... did you just move there? im personally not familiar with Florida and its fishing... i wish though definetly beats ice fishing here in mid Michigan. sounds like a nice adventure waiting for you... exploring new lakes and rivers is one of the many facets of fishing i enjoy most. good luck and keep us posted

Hi Linda. I can't help from here in PA, but I know there are people that post here that pan fish in Florida.
