Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Back in the old days the old mountain men would get together for a rendevous  , Tootie and I were just wondering who would be interested and like to join us in early Sept on Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee  for a Old fashion bluegill rendevouis . This wont be a fishing tournament but just a BBG get together for a good time catching fish, eating good, swapping flies and lies.  Does this not sound like too much fun ! We arn't getting any younger, let us know what you think!   LOFR

A WHAT LEO ? BY THE WAY RUN ACROSS THE MR'S LEO ROD PICS THE OTHER DAY AND IT AIN'T A BLACK BEAUTY IT'S RED AND WHITE WITH GREEN TIPPING  I THINK... NICE , VERY NICE ROD IF MEMORY SERVES.......

Which ever rod you bestowed upon her, she's making me look bad with it.
I'm in for sure if it's at Reelfoot . It's in my backyard, so to speak. The Crappie should be starting up again by then. Just to see and fish Reelfoot is worth a trip if you catch fish it's a bonus. Tried to go last weekend but the weather didn't cooperate. I'll do some recon if I'm needed to.

HEY KEITH CAN YA SEE IF LATER IN THE FALL IF THE BITE FOR GILL IS OK OR SO SO , THANKS......

Hey David, Google Jackie Van Cleave Reelfoot fishing report. He has archived fishing reports going back several years.

THANKS KEITH AND HAVE IT BOOKMARKED NOW FOR TOMORROWS ACTIVITY

I have a friend who lives in Tiptonville and guides part-time on the lake, he'll be a good resource. I'll ask him tomorrow about the fall bite.
