Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

As I sit in the hotel room for the final night and look back on this weekend all I can say is WOW! This place is like a giant family, so welcoming of having my girl and my son along. They were troopers all the way to the end. So many cool things to remember and I learned new things along the way.

First and foremost thanks to everyone that attended and for making the Rondevous and this site an amazing place to be a part of.

Carl - Thanks for spoiling my son, my girl and some great advice along the way.

Tooty and Punkin - Was great to finally put a face to the voice. Those rods you make look great and I should have taken some time to fish one to see how it behaves. Punkin thanks for helping around and corralling my son from time to time.

Duane and Squirrel Girl - Great talking, fishing and just fun to be around.

Mike and LOFR - OMG the food was amazing, I wish I could have stepped in to do more but you boys seem to have this down. I'll definitely have to get my hands dirty next time

Keith - It was great talking to you, these floats are amazing. Great knives as well. Your wife (sorry I forget her name) and son were great to have around. Oh yeah next year we might have to give you some penalty flags....

Joe - Next time we need to get the beast out on the water for a spin and see if we can chase up some slabs.

From the Young'ins we all had a great time, great food and great people. Even learned how to fish with crickets and now see some new bait options in my horizon. LOFR next time I'll jump in on the fish cleaning as well.

It would be cool to get all your alls addresses when you get some free time and back home and settled in. Next year I definitely need more time down here just wasn't enough and if I lived a bit closer I would have loved to come out for some more time on the water. This place is huge by no exceptions.

I'll try to get some pictures uploaded once I return home and get a chance to unwind and get the ol laptop fired up.

Safe travels home everyone!

I'm glad you guys had a great time. I hope to make it one day.

It is definitely worth the trip!

…sounds great!

i was disappointed i havnt seen any fish snaps yet from anybody

how was the fishing?

Friday was slow, Saturday was slow for most of us.... Sounds like they did much better yesterday though the weather patterns and an incoming front probably helped.

Glad to read you and the guys had a great time Craig!

We really enjoyed having you all!! Hope you can make it next year!! Stacey a/k/a squirrel girl
I will post some fish pics in a few.

Thanks you Craig for making the trip and letting me see a Kayak in action. You have a great little family and y'all are welcome any time. It was a great leap of faith for you to travel so far and spend your vacation with people you have never met in person. I hope we didn't disappoint. Take care of that boy. P.S. Beth says she will never forgive you for forgetting her name. HaHa.

Tell Beth I'm sorry ma'am I'll remember it next year. :) Definitely not disappointed it was more than I could have asked for. My entire family left with full bellies, new friends and lots of memories and stories.
