Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

2015 CHRISTMAS DREAMS AND BEYOND.

Christmas is here upon us once again

There’s so much I hope for it would be a win.

Last year was great and for sure hard to beat

I know what it take’s I’ll leave Santa a bigger treat.

Last year was great for this I really know

I got me a new fangled pink graphite fishing pole.

It had a matching reel it all looked so nice

I headed to the lake but it was nothing but ice.

I rummaged through my crank baits my steamer and more

all I want is to fish and catch plenty for sure.

My baits were to big my new pole wasn’t right

for fishing this cold water this big block of ice.

I knew in that instant what I had to do

there’s always next Christmas and the Christmas after that to.

I went home and studied of all the things I would need

the tools for ice fishing ice fishing indeed.

1st there’s our cloths to keep us nice and warm

That keep you snug as a bug in the eye of a storm.

Then there’s an auger a tool that we know

that cuts through the ice making that perfect round little hole.

Then there fish finder that finds us our fish

oh Santa oh Santa please don’t forget.

Then there is an ice shanty so pretty and blue

it keeps me out of the elements the snow and the cool.

Lets not forget the propane heater and such

you just press that red button with nothing else to touch.

The shanty’s all warm we got nothing to loose

we start shedding cloths were down to our shoes.

Not any old shoe would I were on my feet

There Rockies from Nelsonville oh what a treat.

I hope we don’t have company rapping on my door

It could be the DNR need I say more.

I’m setting here half naked not thinking to clear you see

all I wanted was some fish to fulfill my needed need indeed.

A fish through the ice would be such a thrill

that one little bite on my new rod and my new reel.

Now this is all speculation this dream that I have

hoping that I haven’t made Santa dearest to mad.

To bribe him with cookies and pie’s even more

maybe that favorite thing we all call smoor’s.

Maybe some extra goodies for Santa’s rain deer

who haul old Santa around year after year.

Here’s hoping and wishing everything looking so bright

You get what you want on this Christmas day I hope you all might.

But above all on this fabulous Big Bluegill site

Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.
