20151014- just came back from my early afternoon walk... 3 jumbo SMB's out of 6 on

20151014- Fall Bite Smallies interfering with my "Panfish Bite"... LOL

Took my walk to the lake carrying three UL rods and light weight net and backpack with panfish jigs. Wasn’t expecting much due the extended cold front lasting much of October. Was there only a few minutes when I hooked up with Brownie hugging the drop close. The Berkely Nanofil held tight and I quickly brought the fish to net in all her glory… a true Lunker class. After a few quick snaps she was carefully released and took off in a fury. I ended up with 3 total in net out of 6 fish on. A great little outing!

20151014-WIXOM LAKE~ (3) LUNKER SMB'S

after having that short burst of activity 6 SMB's on and landing 3... i had to leave because of back spasms and leg pain who knows if there were more to be caught. i meant to return later but was unable to make it. maybe today i could continue tagging a few.

20151015- the difference from one day to the next... its what makes fishing ... fishing

same lures and same techniques resulted in 1 Great Northern Pike lol... fish thru this funnel area are seasonal and transitional... one day your catching fish the next it may as well be the desert.

20151016- ...------<")))))><(

20151016 - laid up for a little... hope its not to long... really want to dig into this fall trophy bite. i feel its my best chance to secure that B.Crappie Master Angler.
