a snap showing the rig that i used to tag the majority of the SMB today...

2.5" Trigger-X also tagged one fish...

20151005- ...------<")))))><(

20151005... calm and dreary... i should do a little shore fishing

20151005-MASTER ANGLER QUEST - CERTIFICATIONS ARE IN AND FRAMED!

the official certificates and patches... amazing... this is what i play so hard for...

MASTER ANGLER QUEST - CERTIFICATIONS ARE IN AND FRAMED!

20151005~ what a change one day to the next ... only fish in the zone seemed to be a lone junior pike

20151006- ...------<")))))><(

20151006 ~  lost a battle with a very decent northern pike using the 2" Berkley Power Minnow and 2# test... had em at the net then he bit thru the line. was the only bite of the morning.

20151006 - well since that flurry of action a couple days ago with (6) SMB s in such a short period including (2) trophy proportioned big uns … the bite has been sparse and meager from shore at those spots the past couple outings. I realize now I’m going to have a tough time filling the B.Crappie tag for Master Angler this time of year from that spot. It’s the shallow end of the reservoir… wintering fish like the 20 FOW + to reside in during hard water season and those depths start about a mile down river towards the main lake body.

20151006-WIXOM LAKE... testing and searching for the B. Crappie bite

20151006 - BFOTD!!! 17" class SMB caught with a 2" Berkley Power Minnow scratching the concrete rip rap... this fish was tagged using my UL Eagle Claw 5-6 Skins rod / 50 series Shimano Sienna reel with the 2# test ice braid. What a battle!! This fish dogged deep and made some scorching runs. I am totally awed by every SMB I catch. A truly amazing fish every fisherman should experience in their lifetime.

20151006_175549 ~ BFOTD!!

20151007- ...------<")))))><(

20151007 - got some decent weather coming up... maybe ill be able to get that kayak out again a few more times... water temps have taken an extreme nosedive since the last cold front

20151007- i am very interested in the Florida's Big Catch program ... hopefully this winter id be able to get down there and partake. the Exotic Species Slam especially looks like fun
