i here ya Steve... its a blast to hook into them once in a while... ice fishing i actually curse when that LMB takes the bait on 2lb test with my 2 dollar premium tungsten jig... lol ... here's a vid of a LMB that took the waxie in nearly the same conditions.

while fishing i took the time out to smell the roses... enjoy

20150808-Wixom Lake- Picking up some great fish in the shallow weeds Day 3

i can feel or sense a Master Angler certificate headed my way soon! hoping these big and bigger bites continue!

20150808- found my old classic Shimano CX1000 CQ Speedmaster UL spinning reel from the early eighties... loaded it up with some fresh 6-0# braid and rigged it with a slip float. will take it with me fishing the weedy flats today. feels like its in perfect working order.

20150809- tonight is a continuation of 2015 Trophy Crappie Quest... probably on Kerswill or Wixom Lake. 

didnt make it out yesterday due to problems associated with the spine problem... :(

20150810 - Compulsively pulled to the side of the road to fish this spot ended up with an 8" class Gill x seed hybrid
