Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I had sent them a note asking if and when the new launch ramp to be built,  Told them that i had been hearing for over two years that there would be a new ramp.  Here is the reply,  a little pressure might induce them to follow through on stated plans, maybe....

Subject: RE: launch ramp at resevoir

At this time we expect the new boat ramp to be constructed next month. It should be very nice, with two boat ramps. According to the plans from the wildlife commission one will be 8 feet wide and 40 feet long and the other will be 8 feet wide and 60 feet long. We will also be getting a nice fishing dock over by the picnic shelter. I think all of these are floating. We won’t be constructing anything else since the new boat docks are only a month away. If the area is too unsafe until the new docks are installed our only option now would be to close the lake until they are completed. I have let the town manager know about your concern.

Tell them the area is far too unsafe to be open until Monday June 1st at sunrise and then they should let any kayakers that show up test the waters for a few hours, risking their lives to ensure the safety of others... ;^>
