Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

My wife has arthritis in her hands so open face reels are a non starter for her. Her current favorite is this Synergy SYNT16B that I've paired with a 5'6" light action rod. (top in photo).

My 4 year old grandson is using the Synergy SYMCB paired with a 4'10" ultra light (bottom in photo).

Both are slip bobber rigged on 4lb. mono.

I fished with both of these and they cast well and are fun to catch gill with. I have about $25 in each so they are not too expensive.

If you decide to try one, remove the cover opposit the handle and make sure the screw that holds the handle on is tight. Also check them for lube.

Thanks for posting up pics for us as I may need to end up fishing with something like this as I'm starting to have lots of problems with the muscles in my hands ( actually my whole body ).

I have a couple of those reels too.Mine are on 4'6" Ugly Stick UL casting rods. They are fun to fish with especially when you hook into a nice gill.I'll have to use mine more this season.
