Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Friends call me smoltz, i have been on this site many times and this year decided to join. im from Pa and am a big ice fisherman. i got interested in fishing panfish last year and due to circumstances with the bith of my son was unable to fish almost the entire season from April on. Now that my son is almost a year, one of the biggest reason is learning to really get into these so i can teach him and put him on fish when he gets old enough. panfishing is one of those things that is perfect way for me to start him out fishing. like i said i have been a very avid ice fisherman and trout fisherman. but plan on concentrating allot of my efforts this season on pan fishing and learing about it.

Welcome Smoltz, having a family is great and no better way to enjoy time with kids than Bluegill fishing........my grandsons will go out on the boat with me this season for the first time and we're looking forward to that, but we started bank fishing when they began walking. Look around and ask questions if you have them, I'm sure somebody will take a shot to help you when they feel they can,,,,,,

HEY SMOLTZ, HELLO and welcome aboard the site. You will find it very interesting as I have . I'm relatively new here to and only been on a year or so and every day on here I learn something . We are all just bluegill nuts basically and all can learn from each other..........
