Well this is my Quick-change setup for my 13' Shakespeare Durango Panfish pole. 8lb.Berley Vanish line with a size 6 Mustad Barrel Swivel 28lb test.
I tie up a bunch of different size jigs and hooks with the right amount of line and sinker and float attached weighted so it just foats. Then I can quickly change jigs and hook sizes and colors with out having to retie. I store them on wood shimms with the length of pole that its for wrote on them, they fit nicely in tackle box slots.
I Like to keep a few pretied in my box to. Its great to just to have so you can just tie on another after a boken line. I mainly on use them at the dock. When were out on the boat ive usually got at least 8 to 10 rods in the boat so I just shove the broke one in the box and grab another and keep going
This is the long cane pole that I have. I thought it was 4 sections but bit is 3 sections 5 feet long apiece . I can see where pretying your lines would be a big help.
