Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Here is the step by step as promised on my foam hoppers.

Materials:  yellow craft foam, olive utc thread, markers black, olive, light brown, arleene's fabric fusion, #10 light wire hook, rubber legs from cush ball, super glue.

Cut strip of foam 3/16 x 3/16 and shape as show.  Tie on thread base and segment foam with light wraps.  Super glue bottom. Mark edges as show with olive marker.  Mark top with light brown marker.  Make eyes and dots on top with black marker.  Thread legs through body and glue to position.  Bar with black marker.  Seal body with light coat of fabric glue.  Let dry for 24 hrs.

Does the Fabric Fusion help to seal it and waterproof it??????

yeah, it helps keep the legs positioned, seals in the colors and secures it good on the hook as the coating shrinks a little when it dries.  Makes for a lot more durable hopper.

REX, GOOD LOOKING BUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice one Rex will have to try it out! Thanks!
