That's a great 'gill, Cal!  Where did you catch it?

What a  beast!

thanks guys.. i caught it out of a really small pond here in IL.. this was the best bluegill fishing i ever had.. unforunately the guy who owned the place was killed in a boating accident and the place was sold.. the new owners would not let anyone fish there so i lost the spot..

Wow that is such a tragic story, on so many levels....

What an amazing fish!  12 inches is a bench mark that is rarely achieved.  Congratulations!

Absolutely amazing fish! And it looks to be a skin mount. Wow!

thanks guys.. ya kinda messed up story. the guy who owned the pond was retired and went down to florida on vacation and was killed in some sort of boating accident on the ocean..

as i stated previously this mount is 15 years old and it is a skin mount.. its alittle beat up but im still proud of it .. ive actually thought about having it redone with a piece of drift wood or something and maybe get it repainted.. lol maybe someday

Nice Bluegill Cal, I want one...LOL
