Dog Days of Summer

I have found a great place to fill that summer slump and get a mess of gills for the supper table. At most power generating dams, there seems to be a eddy spot against the wall of the dam where bluegill and other panfish like white bass and crappie gather. There is plenty of oxygen and cool water and a float and live bait or small spoon or jig will fill that " I need some gills for supper " desire....

Good advise  Vic. Always look for inlets with eddies and cool currents.
