That's what I'm talking about Bill. I thought I seen all your video's but I guess I didn't. Got a lot out of this video a good educational video Bill I loved it. Thanks for reviving and sharing.

Thanks Bill. I'll need to pick up some snaps. I have tried the split rings and they are a pain in the butt with the small spoons. Yes, Geneva is slowly warming....will be out there soon. On Thursday, my buddy was on Geneva and the temps were in the upper 50's....it's slowly warming. Take care.

Just returned from Canada a few hours ago......I always use a small snap, (size?)...I'm not sure.....never a split ring.....It's rare but line fouling can occur while snapping or fluttering the spoon when using a split ring. The snap prevents this and makes for easy spoon changes.....Geneva surface temps are in the high 50"s and begging for a spooning.

Bill, I haven't been on in some time and just watched your spoon video. Excellent video. I wish some of the Saturday / Sunday morning fishing shows would instruct us, like you did, instead of simply showing us catching fish (also, feeding their ego). I noticed in one of your pictures, that it appears you had a snap affixed to the spoon. Do you always use a snap while fishing spoons and if so, what size do you recommend? I hit Delavan yesterday and popped some nice Crappies use my Little Atom spoon. Warning: saw the first water skiers of the season. Would love to hit the water with you this season. When I drove home to Somers, I saw a few boats in Geneva Bay...perhaps you were "spooning" yesterday? Take care Bill.

The 1/8 oz models are still available....the 1/16 oz spoons are no longer available, check your local tackle suppliers and retailers for old stock.

These spoons are fairly weedless but I would be concerned when it come to wood...I've had to dig out a few snags this year....haven't lost any spoons yet.

Hey Musky Mod most of the places I fish I fear getting snagged on the underwater brush, do these spoons slide over the branches or would I just need to be extra careful?
