Yakkin for Crappie 4/20-4/22

I had off 3 days straight and spent a ton of time on the water. Picked up a sunburn, several bass, a bunch of crappie and some relaxation on the yak. I have no pics cause i lost my iphone and this one sucks. (Get a new iphone in a week) I ended up catching a 5-6lb largemouth on a 2" grub under a float while crappie fishing (22"). With 4# line and a light crappie outfit that was interesting and she took me for a ride in the yak, but i landed her. Caught the crappie on Bobby Garland's baby shad (threadfin shad & blue ice) and also caught them on Charlie Brewer's 1.5" paddle tail grubs. The crappie were tight to cover in brush and i had a blast finding them. My brother also joined me and a beautiful 2lb bullhead cat on a plastic worm while bass fishing.

Any body that has been crappie fishing lately, I'd like to hear from you on what you had luck with and where on the lake! Thanks fellas

I neglected to mention that the color of the Charlie Brewer grubs were baby bass. I've caught lots of crappie but haven't often searched specifically for crappie in brush and such. It's a blast to say the least!

Nice report Jason.....except for the loss of your phone......been doing great with the river crappie up here in the northeast corner.....doesn't help you much with the lake bite.....
