Do you love big bluegill?

Hey i went to the lake yesterday and i keep on gettin bits but the bluegill never bite on the hook. is there anyway to make them like bit onto the hook?

I use size 10 hook. Ya maybe i should try setting the hook i normally just wait for the bluegills to get hooked on themselves.

I fed a tiny gill 6 worms and three crickets once before I finally caught him. Now if they don't suck it in big time, I move to a different spot where the fish are hopefully bigger. If they're not swallowing the hook this time of year, they are little! OR, it's a monster gill that's too smart to be caught by humans.

Smaller sharper hooks run your bait up higher and move to a lighter weight and smaller cork.
