Pond management resources: Best places to go for pond management information.

People in the pond management industry say that www.pondboss.com is the best place to go for pond management information. I've written articles for Pond Boss magazine for years now, and I've never seen any other resource that is in the same ballpark. Bob Lusk is a member of BigBluegill, and has been a big supporter of www.bigbluegill.com. He was the brains and the inspiration behind the Pond Boss magazine, and the Pond Boss website. He's also been a personal inspiration to me in my quest to learn all about the mighty bluegill. I just wanted to take a little bit of space on this blog to thank Bob Lusk for all he's done for me. I've caught 40 bluegill over a pound in my life now, and Bob Lusk, through Richmond Mill Lake and King Fisher Society, and from his own personal lakes, has been responsible for 38 of them.

I'm certain that the pond industry wouldn't be the same without Bob and his efforts. Bob cares about Big Bluegill, big largemouth, and great fishing, but he's first and foremost a steward of this nation's great water resources.

Thanks to people like Bob Lusk, and the great folks on www.bigbluegill.com there's a constant upswelling of concern and action to keep our waters clean and keep legislators from taking away our rights to fish.

So back to the title of my blog....

If any of you out in BigBluegillLand have a link to a good resource for pond management information, please send me a personal message, and I'll start putting together a list of resources. There are quite a few people on this website who are actively participating in pond management to grow big bluegill, so this would make it easier for people to get to the information quickly.

Thanks everybody for keeping this site friendly and clean...and thank you for all your unbelievably great photos, blogs and discussions. We're getting a little national attention here, and it's time to really show everybody what it's like to be a part of a great community.

I can’t agree more.
I started my little pond on what I thought was the right direction until I found this site. There a number of professional on this site that turned me in the right direction. The link to Pond Boss .com really help me get it in the shap it’s in now. Bob has done so much in suppling the little ( or big) pond owner information., and bring other pond managers together in one easy access form is great for people like me. With the unlimited information the web bring there is always help just at the click of a mouse.
I would love to see more info on pond management on this site. Just look at the small numbers in the YOUR POND GROUP. GIVE ME MORE
