Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Everyone has heard those stories about unbelievable productive fishing spots. Well, when I was told of a spot where you could catch huge bluegills right from the bank, I promptly said " No Way". I want to tell you about a secret spot in Alabama where I caught the biggest gills of my life. Let me tell you a little about fishing as I have known it for most of my life. Unable to swim, unable to afford a boat, unable to run in the circles that might allow me access to boat use. I have been confined to places along the shore to catch any fish that venture into my area, usually bluegills in the 4 to 7 inch range. On this day I was catching 10 to 13 inch gills on every cast and with a cane pole of all things. As I said earlier, it's a secret spot known only to a select few in the area. I wish I could share it's location but I can share some pictures .
