Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I live in central West TN and love to fish for Panfish especially big bluegills. My son and I chase these little giants all spring and early summer. We are lucky to be within 40 minutes of Reelfoot Lake.  We also fish Kentucy Lake, Garret Lake, Davy Crockett Lake, Gibson County Lake and the lakes in Natchez Trace State Park. I am willing to share my knowledge of our area and hope to pick up more tips from this web site.

Thanks for the warm welcome. We always fished for crappie on the Big Sandy and West Sandy portions of Kentucky Lake. I would like to know some redear hot spots in that area. Jugging for catfish  on hot summer nights is also fun.

As for a new fishing hole created by a earthquake my backyard would be nice.

Thanks again for making me feel welcome.

I will try to post some recent pictures of Reelfoot . You wont believe any of them have rotted out ever.

I would have thought that the stumps in Reelfoot would have rotted out  in the past 200 years after the earthquake, just think of the new fishing holes that will be created during the next quake.

Welcome Keith!

Do you fish for big Redear down at KY Lake? It's one heck of a fishery.

Will do. I hope we get some rain this spring. the lake is really low and the stumps are high.

Welcome Keith, I see the storms about 30 minutes before they cross the Mississippi and head to you, show us some big Reelfoot  keepers this spring.
