Fly's for Smallmouth bass

I wanna get out fly fishing for some Smallies here soon but the fly's I throw usually catch gills. Can anyone give me some names of really good fly's for Smallies. Any help would be great. Thanks...

Clouser minnows, Wooly Buggers, and Muddler Minnows are hard to beat for smallmouth. I like the darker colors...crayfish, olive greens and black. The clousers in yellow/white, chartruese/white can also be really good. Match the size fly to the baitfish in your river or lake. I usually start at an inch and go larger from there. Good Luck
