Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

ok its been really hot this past week and ive tried everything i know but still i cant find any decent fish i mean all ive been hooking up into are bowfin and its annoying me cus i use light line and every now and then my line pops because of a huge bowfin please help me

yea they are invasive in some areas and i wouldnt know if you can eat them i dnt i just know they are hard to scale oh yeah they have sharp teeth so if you cath one dont try to lip him

Is that what you are catching? If so you need to keep them, they are tasty.

Well I have never caught a bowfin and not sure if we even have them here, but are they boney fish like carp and buffalo?

Can you eat them?

Some folks wish they had your problem !On the other hand, are Bow fin invasive in your water? Maybe they are eating the other fish and bullying your targets into other areas?I'm curious to know!

try fishing in morning and late afternoon on cooler days
