Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hi all,
I have seen ads that tout Birchwood WI as the "Bluegill Capital of the World" ! !
Any truth to that? I am thinking about maybe taking my bride up there this summer for a few days. Would sure like to hear about where to stay and which lake is real good! OR, tell me about any other bluegill "hotspots" that are in the midwest... Thanks..... John

everybody think their place is the best , in my experience in my travels across the country the swamps in Louisana are the best for "free range" bluegill. Ask Shooter , He is lucky enought to be living in the middle of it .
