Auger-less at the moment so what to do?
Hello friends!
Bw is auger-less at the moment, super bummer! My auger locked up from too many years of neglect. Thats what happens when you move from the "ice belt" and are going for 8 years. My fault. I will be buying a new auger this month, that can't come soon enough!
So what to do when the lakes are forzen and you have no way to punch a hole? Not much! I have bought some jigs and such but, I happend to stumble upon a tv show on the web, last night. The show is on the Versus channel if you have cable, or like me, if you don't, it can be found here Ice Men TV What an amazing show!!!
If the weather has got ya down or if you have no clue about ice fishing please check this out!! For 2 days I have watched every episode, from both seasons!
I will let you all know when The BW is back in action on the ice!

There are times when the old hand auger is the way to go, unfortunately that time has passed, here anyway! I'll have 3hp nestled in my mitts soon! Hand augers are for tough guys like you Jim! I'm still just a boy! LOL!
