Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Imagine my surprise to open my email this morning and see a friend request from Scott Hudson, son of T.S. Hudson. I can tell the two of us have created quite the stir on the Big Blue Gill page. I never thought we'd find out about Mr. Hudson's fish! I'm excited and thrilled as all of you are. Maybe between Scott and I we can piece together where some of the fiction starts and the facts end.

And thank you all for your comments and encouragement. I just wish I had time to get out there and really find the fun places to fish. As for Ketona...well...now that I live here, I'd like to check it out if they would allow me access.

Sounds great. My 10 yr old grandson just had a fishing birthday party. We all had a great time. It's a tradition the whole family can be a part of.

Tradition!!! Bigbluegill.com with a bunch of Arnolds and Hudsons on it. If your grandfather was an Auburn fan, well, even Auburn has great tradition. I look forward to what evolves here.

Boogieman, I have a younger sister (she don't fish, or at least didn't when Grandpa and I went) Chuck has an older brother David in TN. My aunt adopted two children, Russell and Amanda (about 13 and 18 yrs younger than me). Then I have 5 kids and a year old grandson. Chuck has two children, David has one. So we have plenty to keep a line going!

Whew! I feel better now Christine. LOFR turned down a chance to play for "THE BEAR". He ain't that bright, but he does have a bunch of quills and did pull for Bama against everybody but Arkansas last year. We could have used him in 72 as a blocker. Ain't fishin' fun at home?

You got to go for a touchdown, run up the score, make Mike the Tiger stand right up and Roar, hang on to the ball as you hit the wall and crash right through the line, I grew up in Baton Rouge.

Ok guys..my email address begins..Rolltide_chick_in_LA...so ya'll tell me. I had to sit at college grad listening to the Tiger Fight song at LSU and resist the urge to holler Rolltide in fear they would take my BA degree back. Then I had to pray my dad wouldn't let one out! So definitely make em Crimson-my favorite color! I think Grandpa rooted for Auburn only because my aunt went there...but if you make striped ones, Chuck was an Auburn Grad as well. I went to LSU b/c it was the lesser of the two tigers. Daddy would have whooped me had I went to Auburn. My original major was in Forestry, which is not at Alabama--had I known I'd go back to college in 2003 and change my major to something that was at Bama..well what if's. I still bleed crimson. (like everyone else)

I guess that why in 1973 Bear offered me a scholarship to play at Alabama.

In 1972, I left the house with my wife to go to Singer for thread or something. Bama was ahead of Auburn 16-3. When we got to the store, Auburn had blocked two punts and run them in for touchdowns. It was the "Punt Bama Punt" game. Bama lost 17-16. Shug Jordan, the Auburn coach called his team "The Amazings". The title of this blog is Amazing. I can't believe LOFR has suckered me into this.
