How does it make this. Reflectivity or heat retention of the vegetation?

this is the vegetation layer shown on my insight genesis mapping subscription of wixom lake. i love wide expanses of weedy flats for bluegill. fishing in the thick stuff is tough to do  but that alone may produce a trophy. what about exploring the weed gaps first.... HMMMM?

yes this bluegill was caught on the bottom with a dropshot in a school of fish vertical jigging.

Did you see the fish, or group of fish?

Ken, I'll take your "close" any day.
With your help, I may get "close."

added some more mapping and exposing the creek channel junction ... nothing like getting to know your lake like scanning every square foot of the bottom. i feel like i know every square inch of the six hundred acres ive scanned so far. every weed bed hump and point.
