New place

Ok guys (and girls) need a little input. My new lake house has a nice big deck on the back of the house.

I’m going to redo the steel with metal studs so I can add paneling. Build brick flower bed and repaint support. My question is the deck it self. I need to stain it, seal it or something.

What can I put down that will look good and last a long time. Remember…

Just Think

Tell me why are we using a $7.65 lura to catch a $1.16 per pound fish.

Cost per pound of a pond. Stocking cost, feed, pumps, water treatment and electrical.

The fish I catch and eat comes to $7.45 per pound. No wounder we lie about the weight.

Fly Fishing Kind of

Ok I don't have a fly rod there no way I could ever get that down. But tonight I tied a small fly on my reel. Use my small bobber as the extra weight to cast it out. Three cast three gills. Watching them hit the top of the water to get this little thing was nice. One less thing on the bucket list. Who said old dogs can't learn new tricks

Join Bigblue gill

Going back over some of my picture to see about when I joined this goup. I found one December 09

Look like I stocked my pond in October last year. So my fish are about a year old. Just want to add it's been a blast talking with everyone here. And looking to spend more time sharing info and pictures with everyone

If by chance I have offended anyone please forgive an old man from Texas.

Picture on site

I notice that I have over 200 pictures in my files. Does this takeup space on the site? Should I remove some?

I know most site has a limit on whats stored on the site. Some time I have to much time on my hands and start this thinking thing.

reporting crew

With the growing numbers of member to Big Bluegill it time we have a “on site reporting Crew” This crew sponsored by the members will go around the country and fish different site, lakes and pond and use the latest tackle and do a daily news video from locations.
Jeremy and I will, for the betterment of the group, quit our jobs and take on this task. A picture of the required boat and tackle will be posted soon.
Thank You
Magnolia Rick

I know my bass spawn in March when the water temperature gets above 68 degrees.
