Mark I have fished Erie and Indian. Never ice fished Indian though and haven't fished Erie in 20 years. I do have an ice auger it's about 30 years old . Couldn't tell you the make off the top of my head. It is a kinda lime green and 2 cycle and the blade is 8 or 10 inches. I know there is lots of nice makes but not in the market so I can not be of much help with you there. I do know the most important thing about an auger is keep the blade sharp. Keep in touch Mark and GOOD FISHIN..

Welcome aboard Mark. Enjoy our site and use it well. There is lots that goes on here all we have to do is look. Look at the blogs and forums and enjoy I know there is lots to be learned  here all we have to do is use it and participate . You are now part of an interesting bunch of people who have a common goal we all love to fish and fish is what we do when the opportunity arises . When we do go out and fish we are  learning and when we learn hopefully we pass on that bit of knowledge that we learned to other people. There is tons of information for us to fine tune our skills. In the same token don't be afraid to share information yourself  it  may be something we can use ourselves to help us in our  fishing  endeavors.  Then in the same token if you have a question don't be afraid to ask. Almost everybody here will answer your question if he or she knows the answer and it  may be that something someone else wants to hear the answer to but hasn't asked yet there is no questions to dumb. There is also photo's and even some videos and we have a chat line which really in my opinion is not used much at all you just have to make sure your logged on to use it, so don't be afraid to explore there is loads  information here all learned by sharing and caring people. I know you will enjoy the site because I know you like to fish or you wouldn't  be here now. Where else can you learn and have so much fun doing so. Have fun enjoy the site and GOOD FISHIN..
