I fish in Downers Grove and Mick Thill taught me a lot! I was fishing the 42 foot pole Saturday and was snapped off by 2 large fish - I have to create some new rigs to go after some of those channels and carps that were busting my 3.5 lb.
We will be fishing our league event in Bloomingdale coming up if you are interested. Check out the fishing league page.
I don't fish the long pole in club events as much because I want to have people see the more "standard" tackle.
