- What type of animal is a bluegill?
- No Pond--but as stated I fish Smith Lake and a smaller lake in Walker County near Jasper Alabama, using a fly rod in the early spring. This lake is about 150 areas. The fly rod and micro light fishing is my favorite way to land monster gills.
