  SEEMS TO ME that now that you have become an ADDICTED yarn and dubbing spinner that you will go on to great things buddy.
   Now let me tell ya something buddy: MANY YEARS AND THOUSANDS OF BUGS AGO , I CAME UP FROM THE BASEMENT WORKSHOP tired and had been down there most of the day. When I got upstairs my wife said to me , IF I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO SPEND SO MUCH TIME DOWN THERE I'D HAVE BOUGHT YOU THAT VICE YYYYYYYYYYYYEARS AGO......

   SEE when ya really get in the swing of things , so to speak , with this tying addiction , you too will spend wwwwwwwwwway to much time in the shop and this frees up your wife to do the things she wants to do and not be pestered or nagged at by the old man !!!!! GOOD FOR HER , GOOD FOR YOU , BBBBBBBAD FOR THE FISHES .......NICE FLY BUDDY.....

Thank you, Vince. I see so many patterns, so many known and tested designs, that I often feel I'm wasting my time with my "silly" experiments.
Its nice to know I'm not the only one.
Too, I suppose every fly had to start somewhere, and was nothing more than a flight of fancy in the beginning.

Good looking fly,David. A lot of the tying I do is free styling. I tie them according to the mood I am in, and the materials I have on hand at the time. Some of them have been very productive, and most are unnamed.
