Indeed Carl......what you're looking at here is the result of tropical storms and hurricanes in which these cypress trees get blown over in different directions as you receive strong winds in all directions through the full duration of a passing storm.......most go down in rather shallow water but the cover offers a sanctuary for fish and get a little breeze moving bait through and you create a hot zone around these blow downs........very exposed region just a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean......
would love to fish here to Jeff!! it has -- gills here!! written all over it!1
Understand...for me the reel is just a line holder.......as long as I like the line release lever and the lock line feature I'm ok..........the ability to put out extra line for deeper presentations in cold water is nice too........this model takes the stress off the pole from larger fish and it's easier to renew/replace line.......
Not sure yet Jeffrey..... will have to get it in my hands first and see how everything feels.
Good deal Steve........enjoy........what type of reel did you get to put on it?
Thanx for the look at the new rod J.A.. I just got one on the way.
I caught over 50 crappie on this new style telescopic just yesterday.................
