Yes, D, thats a Humbug. Originated by Gaines Flies of FL, they are an easy tie and add a nice contrasting look to the overall bluegill fly concept. I usually use only 2 pair of legs, but the choice is yours.

I weight mine as a Bullys Spider, and Ive started using a small glass "seed bead" as a head. This gives a nice shiny noggin' and eliminates the bother of creating a thread head.

nice bugs, really like the jig version.bully spiders are another simple fly that has caught tons of fish i have no idea why i never use them..hit the bargain bins at tackle stores or the shows and get spinnerbait skirts cheap.the silicone ones are best for legs every color you can think of.the rubber ones i used to use dry rot after a while and get stiff

Here are a handful of Bully's Spiders.  The one on the upper left (brown/brown legs) is store bought; the others are mine.  The one's I tied are a little shorter and fatter.  I need to work on getting a consistent head & leg placement, but I don't think the fish will mind much.  I ran out of leg material, so I scavenged the core from some bungee that was left from the anchor trolley on my kayak.
